Dr Gordon Thomson

Gordon earned his degree in Animal Biology from the University of Guelph before completing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College in 2015. Originally from Scarborough, he was drawn to the Quinte area through strong family connections and joined Stirling Veterinary Services in 2019.

Passionate about all facets of veterinary medicine, Gordon brings a confident and highly skilled approach to patient care. He has a particular interest in surgery, with a budding interest in orthopaedic procedures. Gordon

is committed to ongoing learning and continuously strives to advance his clinical expertise.

He is an active member of the College of Veterinarians of Ontario, the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association, and the Quinte District Veterinary Association. In addition to his clinical work, Gordon volunteers his time and expertise with the Quinte Humane Society, helping animals in need and supporting the broader community.

In his time off, you will often find him flying down the soccer field, spending quality time with his wife and two children, or relaxing with his dog, Stella, and cat, Frankie. His deep love for animals and dedication to his profession make him a valued member of the Stirling team.
